Ember of the Hollow

Ember of the Hollow is the rare phone RPG that doesn't pester you every five minutes. You explore a dim, hand-drawn world, recruit a small party, and fight in tidy turn-based battles that lean on timing and elemental weaknesses.

The story is told in short bursts, which suits playing in gaps during the day. Character builds have real choices, and respeccing is cheap enough that you'll actually experiment. Boss fights are the highlight, asking you to read patterns rather than just out-level everything.

It's generous with saves and lets you pause mid-battle, which matters on a phone. The pacing drags a little in the middle act, but the ending stuck with us longer than we expected.
