Lantern Trails

Lantern Trails is quiet, pretty, and knows exactly what it wants to be. You wander connected little scenes, solve light environmental puzzles, and slowly restore color and warmth to places that have gone dark. There's no combat and no timers.

The puzzles are more about noticing than struggling, which makes it a lovely wind-down game. Touch controls are simple, the art is soft and warm, and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting for the mood.

It's short, maybe four hours, and some people will want more challenge. We didn't mind. Sometimes you just want a phone game that calms you down instead of hyping you up.
